Poop Troop LLC (“Poop Troop,” “we,” “us”) operates pooptroop.biz. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect your name, ZIP code, email, phone number (if you give one), the number of dogs on the property, and anything you choose to tell us. If you check the text-message box on our quote form, we also record that consent, when it was given, and the device and IP address it came from. For clients on a standing appointment, we also keep the service address. We collect basic usage data (pages visited, browser type) through standard server logs.
How we use it
We use your information to prepare a quote, schedule and keep your standing appointment, send your weekly report, process payments, and communicate about your account. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the service: Stripe for payments, Supabase for secure data storage, Resend for email, and an SMS provider for text messages. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and we share only the data needed to provide your service. Our SMS provider receives your mobile number only to deliver messages you've agreed to receive; we never share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.
Text messages (SMS/MMS)
If you check the box on our quote form or otherwise ask us to text you, Poop Troop LLC will send text messages to the number you provide about your quote, appointment reminders and schedule changes, visit reports (which may include a photo of your closed gate), billing, and replies to your messages. Message frequency varies (typically 1–8 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time; you may also email hello@pooptroop.biz. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and our SMS delivery provider, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
We retain your data while your account is active and for up to twelve months after you stop service, then delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to hello@pooptroop.biz.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep clients signed in to the account portal. We use no third-party tracking cookies.
